Hello! Let us introduce ourselves.

If this is your first time, we want you to know you’re entering a judgment-free zone. Everybody is welcome. Our deepest hope is that you may meet some new friends and get to know Jesus Christ in a personal and intimate way. He is the reason we are here.

Service Length And Activity

Normally, services at PHWC run about 1-2 hours in length. However, we always want to give the Holy Spirit freedom to minister to us through His gifts. If we need to pause and pray for others, we will listen to the guidance of the Spirit. Services usually begin with young and old together in the main sanctuary for praise and worship. We encourage you to worship at your comfort level. Some people clap, raise their hands or simply sing. Some worshipers gather at the altar, kneeling, crying, dancing, waving flags, or even lie on the floor. Look around. We have plenty of tissue boxes stationed if you need them. At the end of worship, we always give worshipers the opportunity to give to the Lord through tithes and offerings. After announcements a minister will step up to the pulpit and share God’s Word with the congregation.

What Should I Wear?

Everyone is basically casual. Some men may wear suits and ties, while others are in jeans and polo shirts. Some women may dress up, while other ladies are comfortable in jeans and tees. Our only request is that you dress in a way that honors the Lord.

What about my children?

Nursery
We have a nursery available for parents to comfort or care for their newborns, toddlers and preschoolers. The Nursery is equipped with toys, a cozy couch and plenty of rocking chairs. Services are streamed into the room for parents who want to participate in the service and still nurture their babies. Volunteers staff the nursery on Sunday mornings after praise and worship.

Elementary
Elementary-grade school ages gather each Sunday in our Children’s Ministry room, located in the North Hall (left hallway). We use ShareFaith curriculum, videos, and worksheets to teach them the foundations of Christianity and lead them into a personal relationship with Jesus. As always, if the Holy Spirit is moving upon the children, we give Him all the time He needs to minister to the hearts of our children. They are spirit-beings, too, and more than able to respond to the presence of the Lord.

Middle/Jr. High/Sr. High
We encourage all of our students to become aware of God’s presence and hunger for an encounter with the Lord through worship and the Bible. Leaders utilize illustrated sermons, games, activities and challenge the students to begin and grow in their Christian Faith. We discuss current events with a biblical world view and teach teens how to apply biblical principles to their everyday life. Again, if the Holy Spirit is moving upon the teens (and that is our desire) we give Him all the time He needs to minister to them.

ALL AGE GROUPS ARE RELEASED IMMEDIATELY AFTER OFFERING IN THE MAIN SANCTUARY.

Service Times

Each Sunday at 10am and 6pm
On Sunday morning we engage in exciting worship, biblical preaching and classes and activities are available for all age ranges. Sunday evenings are for whatever the Spirit of God wants to do. We schedule worship and a speaker, but we are always willing and waiting on Him to move among us.

Each Wednesday at 7pm
The Circle! Our mid-week service is geared towards helping you make connections and grow in your knowledge of the Bible. We ask everyone to bring a dish to share and fellowship for about 45 minutes.  Then we circle-up in the sanctuary to read and discuss scripture. All ages are encouraged to join together in the sanctuary for relevant discussion from Scripture.

OFF-CAMPUS MINISTRY
Throughout the week, small groups meet throughout the city, county, and neighboring counties in the homes of faithful home group leaders. This offers the opportunity for fellowship, personalized Bible study, prayer, and builds interpersonal relationship. Get connected and worship the Lord in a private setting with a few, close friends. Invite your friends who are seeking, so they can put their trust in Christ Jesus. Contact Wesley Walls for more information, or call the church.
