We welcome you and your children to the Potter's House Worship Center!

OUR TEAM

Every volunteer completes a detailed application and attends training meetings.  Regular meetings are held for each department by the individual directors. Our team members are gifted and anointed to lead services especially geared toward helping children develop a healthy positive perception of God and His church.

Wee Kare Nursery (Birth - 23 months)
Director - Jenny Miller

Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him. (Psalm 127:3)

Each infant is a blessing from God! It is our hope in the nursery to minister to your child's spiritual, physical and emotional needs. We believe that a child is never too young to learn about God's Word. Through Gospel Publishing House's Radiant Life curriculum, your child will begin to learn about the foundational truths in the Bible. Every nursery attendant is ready to provide a safe, peaceful and loving environment for your child as you worship the Lord in the adult service.

Triumphant Toddlers (Ages 2-3)

Director - Gail Fry

The Lord is raising up an army! Clearly, this has become so apparent to me with all the new soldiers being born from within our church families this past year. I am so excited! Here at the Potter’s House, we believe that when God, the Father, creates  each one of us, He creates each one for His purpose. It is our privilege to receive each new blessing (child) and impart to them the Agape love of God by being Jesus to them. When a child comes to the Toddler’s class, it is not always easy for them to let go of their Mommy or Daddy. When we receive them, we show them that they can feel safe, secure and the Agape love our Heavenly Father. We introduce them to Jesus by being Jesus to them. They will worship, pray, as well as play in an environment that will let them feel safe and secure till their parents return for them. When the time comes to graduate from our class, they will move on to the Super Seekers, knowing Whom they are seeking and why. It is our privilege to minister to each one that arrives and we take this ministry very seriously.

Super Seekers (Preschool-K)

Director - Elaine Spedding

Deuteronomy 6:7, You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. As parents, our focus is teaching our children God’s Word. It is a lifestyle of helping them learn everyday, talking about the Lord and learning the Bible. We come together at church to fellowship and learn about Jesus. We’ve been blessed by others who have taught us the Word. We are successful because of the investment of others in our lives. Because of this, we want to give to others. Our goal is to impact the lives of others, especially our children, for Jesus.

VISION STATEMENT:

Our vision is to create an environment for children to worship; teaching and encouraging children to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.  We will be fostering devoted prayer lives, presenting the Gospel in a practical way.  We take the position that this is childrens church and Holy Spirit will speak through them and use them on all levels of ministry.  As the body of Christ, we take the responsiblity to equip children to be the spirit-filled church of TODAY and TOMORROW.
