The Potter's House Worship Center recognizes that there are many different functions within the ministry of the church, including: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers, elders, deacons and helpers. The church is aware of its Christ‑ordained powers within the written Word, and declares that the expression of helps or governments allows the ministry of the church to ordain or appoint those that are qualified to serve in order to fulfill the purpose of the church and the entire Body of Christ.

Any ordained minister, for immorality or heresies will be removed by the Senior Pastor(s) following the scriptural guidelines of Matthew 18:15-17 and 1 Corinthians 5:1-13. The goal is to restore the individual, but if they remain unrepentant, the Senior Pastor(s) are obligated by God's Word to revoke the ordination.

NOTE: Ministers ordained by The Potter's House Worship Center relinquish his/her PHWC ordination at the time they resign from active PHWC ministry or leave the church.
