Cleansing Discipleship Training When people experience personal healing and deliverance, often as the result of participating in the Cleansing Stream Seminar and Regional Retreats, many desire to learn how to help others have the same experience. Cleansing Stream Discipleship Training is the phase that follows the Cleansing Stream Seminar and Retreat. One of the qualifications for possible participation in the Cleansing Stream Discipleship Training is having been through the Seminar and Retreat at least ONE time. It may be a surprise to some, but not everyone is ideally-suited to both the rigorous training requirements or the demands that come later from being prepared for and called by the local pastor to minister as part of a CSD Prayer Team. This is not exclusivity in any form. Rather, it is an issue of knowing God has called someone to be a part of this type of ministry and this person truly "has counted the cost" involved in doing so. For there is a cost. The goal is that Christian ministry for emotional healing and deliverance should be an integral part of the overall ministry within the local church and always under the covering and supervision of the pastor. This is the model our Lord established during His ministry on earth and then later expanded through the early Apostles. The Cleansing Discipleship Training employs three aspects of discipleship: teaching, training and touching lives. The teaching aspect is accomplished through monthly video teachings. The training portion is provided through homework materials and practical application while praying as part of a Cleansing Discipleship Prayer Team in the local church. Much prayer and labor have gone into the preparation of nine teaching sessions and associated workbooks. First Step: Who He Is And Who We Are There is additional training at CSM Regional Retreats twice a year. Opportunities for touching happen as a Cleansing Discipleship Prayer Team prays for people within the congregation, for each other, and as they minister at CSM Regional and Area Retreats.
